AIMA has been operating for 21 years with over 1300 member companies worldwide.  AIMA Canada was established in March 2003 and is one of the largest National Groups of AIMA worldwide with circa 80 member companies. Click here for our global brochure.

Benefits of Joining AIMA:

AIMA and the various National Groups are extremely active in representing the industry with regulators, the government and the press to ensure that member views are expressed and that education on all fronts is enhanced.

AIMA Canada consists of five committees, comprised of members who devote their time to ensuring we stay abreast of issues.  The committees are:

Membership categories include: hedge fund and fund of hedge fund (FoHF) management company (dues based on AUM); legal and accounting firms; prime broking companies; banks; wealth management companies and stockbrokers; consulting entities; fund administrators; exchanges and clearing houses; vendors; institutional investors and other service providers.  Securities regulatory bodies, as well as certain institutional investors, such as public and private pension plans, may be eligible for complimentary access to some member benefits (e.g., due diligence questionnaires).
